We’re fortunate to have been able to welcome guests from across the country to our our all-women’s bed and breakfast home in Northampton, Massachusetts. OMG! I am unable to do anything but GUSH about my 2-night stay at Downton Valley. Very last minute, not planned–a total gift to me. The proof is in the details–wood floors throughout, best described as hard velvet, light, light and more light – not windows exactly, more like glass walls with total views of the valley, large rooms with private baths. Colors, furniture, lay-out all bellow “welcome HOME!” The crowning touch: an endless pool complete with Lisa’s expert tutelage. Accommodations limited to 4 guests at a time create a “home”, not a hotel. Lisa and Bonnie have realized their vision of a unique space for women, spacious, yet intimate. COME, COME, COME and tell your friends!!

Everything about our stay at Downton Valley exceeded our expectations. The location is literally breathtaking. The house is gorgeous, comfortable, and immaculate. The amenities are over the top, especially the saltwater pool which we enjoyed for an entire day. Breakfast each morning was delicious. It was a luxurious, wonderful experience to be welcomed into Bonnie’s and Lisa’s beautiful home. We loved the time we spent with them and plan to become regular guests at this very special place.

My daughter and I enjoyed the most wonderful weekend at Downton Valley. The innkeepers Lisa and Bonnie are friendly, thoughtful, attentive, kind and fun. They’re just wonderful people who enjoy meeting other people and they want you to be happy and comfortable, which we were! Downton Valley is a place where you can relax and enjoy the hospitality, views, and amenities or you can go exploring and enjoy the surrounding area and the cute, friendly town of Northampton with its many shops and restaurants. We were very comfortable in our room and slept very well on that amazing mattress! I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to help spread the good word about this little gem called Downton Valley! Thank you, Lisa and Bonnie!

Downtown Valley was an incredible weekend getaway, highly recommend! Lisa and Bonnie were amazing, we can’t say enough wonderful things about them and their home, they didn’t miss a thing. We were fortunate to ELOPE in the front yard and it was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The views are incredible, and everything was immaculate, close to the center of Northampton and on property hiking trails were an added bonus. Thank you again Lisa and Bonnie we will 1 million percent be back!

From our first impressions…. we were AWE struck! The evening we arrived and turned into the driveway; a sudden burst of endless lantern lights led us to the mountain top. We knew right then we were in for a treat. The front door opened and we were greeted with bright smiles and wags from Lisa, Bonnie and sweet little Charlie. Like we were coming home to old friends!
It is far more beautiful than pictures can ever capture! The arrangement and abundance of windows bring the outside nature in so that you feel you are truly experiencing the serene, peaceful escape that you desired to find.
From sunrise 🌄 to sunset 🌅 you are basking in glorious views inside and out from this spectacular retreat. Bonnie’s art adorns the walls of this pristine home and brings intimacy and beauty to your experience here. Lisa will nurture you with her delicious breakfasts made with love, which are a work of art themselves! There is an abundance of amenities here at the Downton Valley Inn which are sure to provide something for everyone, however the highlight of our stay was the way in which we left feeling how special we were treated and how extraordinary these two lovely women are! Our only regret is that we wished to have had more time to share. We will absolutely return! Thank you for your endearing hospitality.

This place is amaaaaaaaaaazing! My wife (yay!!!!!) and I came here for a mini honeymoon and wow we wish we would have stayed longer. Bonnie and Lisa are amazing and absolutely spoiled us. Also the area is so nice. Many cute things to do and good foods to eat! We will be returning.

My girlfriend Angie and I stayed at Downton Valley on 6/18/2022. If you have not had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place, you must!!! Our hostesses Lisa and Bonnie are two pretty amazing women who have opened their gorgeous home for guests. The home and the views are simply breathtaking, and Bonnie’s beautiful artwork which adorns the walls is stunning. Located in a gay friendly Northampton, Mass., it is definitely a place you will want to visit ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Felt like I was coming home! Lisa and Bonnie have done an outstanding job turning their home into second home for travelers, close attention to detail paired with beautiful interiors and exteriors. On a trip due to a family medical emergency, Lisa and Bonnie were just so accommodating to our needs. Always giving us kind words of encouragement and any help they could offer, something you would never find at a hotel. I left with the feeling of a newfound friendship. Will definitely be the only place I will stay on my next trip out!

I have travelled extensively and I can say that Downton Valley is the best B & B that I have ever been to. Lisa and Bonnie are so welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. In fact, I feel that Downton Valley is my “home away from home.” They pay attention to every detail and their special touches can be seen throughout the house that they created. The endless pool was amazing and playing ping pong with Bonnie was a really good time. The hot tub along with the pool to laze around in was incredible. I felt like I was staying at my own private resort with my two best friends hosting me! You too will be smiling from ear to ear because they will do anything they can to make your stay be truly outstanding. They are very passionate about making your time here exceptional because they are extraordinary, kind and generous women. You too will find that Downton Valley is your “home away from home.”

We had a lovely time, staying a long weekend at Downtown Valley B & B. Hosts Lisa and Bonnie are welcoming and helpful. Their home and it surrounding views are gorgeous! There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Go if you can! Northampton – where the coffee is strong and the women stronger!

Lisa and Bonnie are two of the most amazing hosts you will ever find. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every aspect of our stay was perfectly planned. Downton Valley is simply amazing, with their attention to detail unparalleled. Our stay was not nearly enough time to fully explore and appreciate all this home has to offer. However, it is not the amenities that left us feeling most excited, it was the new friends we made. Not often in life do you meet two strangers that immediately have such an impact on your wellbeing. Our return trip is already being planned; we can’t wait to see you again!!!

My wife and I had such a wonderful stay at Downton Valley! Bonnie and Lisa have created a beautiful, loving, safe space for women to relax and recharge. I can’t wait until we get to go back again! We spent our one-year anniversary here and it was magical. The house is so amazing that photos will never do it justice. Lisa and Bonnie are the best hosts I could imagine, we just can’t thank them enough for making us feel so welcome and taken care of.

My wife and I knew we would have a wonderful weekend away because we always do but we weren’t expecting the over-the-top hospitality we received at Downton Valley.
